Concrete Plant Maintenance Supervisor

• Summary of Primary Functions: **Directs and coordinate activities of support department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
  
  

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Reviews production orders/BOMs or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
• Plans support operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
• Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications
• Reviews production and operating reports resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Ensure specific operational performances and optimum utilization
• Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Production Superintendent for actions
• Knowledge of carpentry, warehouse operations, metal fabrications, welding fabrication and equipment operations, and be able to step in as needed
  
  

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

• Education: **High School plus Vocation or Technical Education is preferred.
• Experience: **5 to 7 (+) years related experience is required.
  
  

Supervisory Experience : 3 - 5 (+) years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will encounter adverse conditions daily. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Travel Required : Employee will travel 2 – 3 times per year.
