Concrete Pump Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Concrete Pump Dispatcher to coordinate the efficient operation of concrete pumping services. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub between project sites, drivers, and clients, ensuring timely arrivals and optimal utilization of equipment. Your expertise in ERP management systems, logistics, and dispatching will drive project success and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects by managing schedules, tracking equipment, and maintaining seamless communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch concrete pump trucks
• Confirm all next-day jobs with customers
• Manage jobs booked days to weeks in advance
• Coordinate with concrete mixer companies dispatch for timing
• Handle last-minute changes and scheduling conflicts
• Maintain organized daily and weekly schedules
• Make outbound calls to confirm jobs and follow up on opportunities
• Reconnect with past customers and help fill schedule gaps
• Coordinate and schedule concrete pump deliveries by analyzing project requirements and optimizing routes using Geotab and GPS technology.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and project managers via phone and text, ensuring clear instructions and updates.
• Utilize dispatch systems such as Rapid ERP Systems and Geotab to track trucks, manage job details, and update dispatch logs accurately.
• Monitor fleet operations through fleet management software like Rapid ERP Sytems and transportation planning tools to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Manage job tickets to maintain accurate records for invoicing purposes.
• Perform data entry tasks related to dispatching activities, maintaining detailed logs for analysis skills development and reporting purposes.
• Proven experience with GIS, GPS navigation systems, and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret jobsite information for effective dispatching decisions.
• Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette for interacting with drivers, clients, and team members.
• Proficiency in data entry; typing knowledge is essential for efficient workflow.
• Knowledge of concrete business is preferred.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
