Titan Concrete Pumping is a well-established mid-sized pump company with a great loyal customer base hiring for the position of Dispatch in Columbia, SC. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Concrete Pump Dispatcher to manage scheduling and ensure exceptional customer service that continues to grow our customer relations and maintain the high standards of service we provide.

Position Summary

The Concrete Pump Dispatcher serves as the main point of communication between customers and pump operators. This position is responsible for using our proven system to receive orders from customers and schedule concrete pumps to their job site, invoice those jobs and monitor ongoing jobs throughout daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch concrete pump trucks and operators to job sites.
• Coordinate daily job assignments based on customer needs, pump availability, and operator schedules.
• Communicate with contractors, project managers, and customers regarding scheduling and job status.
• Monitor job progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
• Create tickets with all relevant information to ensure operators are at the right job at the right time with the right equipment.
• Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize the system in place to track all inventory that operators need to complete the job.

Qualifications

• Experience in the concrete industry and having familiarity with concrete pumps is encouraged. Concrete Pump operators who are looking to transition from being in the field to an office setting are highly encouraged.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office. Hours are 7 am- 5 pm, however, the concrete industry has problems that can arise in off hours. Must be able to answer off-hour calls to solve problems. Occasional Saturday jobs require being able to answer calls that are relevant to those jobs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and keep track of multiple moving parts while still accomplishing each individual task.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
