Job Summary Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Ready-Mix Concrete Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, the Ready-Mix Sales Representative will be responsible for developing, marketing, and selling ready-mix concrete and companion products to contractors, builders, and construction companies within both commercial and residential markets. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic sales approaches, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

1. Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers including contractors, builders, construction companies as well as with other potential customers.

2. Understand the specific needs of each project, including concrete mix designs, volume requirements, and delivery schedules.

3. Provide product information and technical support to customers.

4. Conduct site visits and assess customer needs to recommend suitable products when necessary.

5. Develop accurate and competitive quotes for ready-mix concrete based on project specifications and market conditions.

6. Coordinate with Dispatchers/Batchers to ensure concrete is delivered to the job site as scheduled.

7. May serve as a back-up with dispatching, batching and logistical tasks to facilitate production & delivery

8. Stay informed about trends in the local and national economy that may impact the ready-mix market.

9. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer contacts, sales and follow-up actions.

10. Work closely with various departments, including production and logistics to meet customer needs and ensure product quality.

11. Help credit department with the collection of outstanding payments from customers.

12. Develop relationships with prospective customers to secure bidding opportunities.

13. Represent Cement Products Inc. at industry events and social functions to build brand awareness and generate sales leads.

Requirements/Skills:

· High School Diploma required

· Two years of sales experience, preferably in the construction or ready-mix industry

· A personal commitment to providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships

· Must achieve ACI Concrete Certification

· General experience in the construction or ready-mix industry, such as poured concrete and concrete stamping would be a plus

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective computer skills, are essential for interacting with customers, coworkers and other stakeholders

· The ability to negotiate prices, delivery schedules and other terms with customers.

· A working understanding of concrete mix designs and their applications would be a plus

· The ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the sales process

· Possess a strong ability to plan and prioritize tasks with effective attention to detail

Compensation/Benefits:

· Compensation in the $55,000 plus depending on knowledge, skill and experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
