Join Zelenack Contracting Inc as a Concrete Site Foreman in Drums, PA, where you'll lead our dedicated team in delivering high-quality construction projects. This exciting opportunity allows you to showcase your leadership skills while ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence on every job site.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and crew to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and safety logs.
- Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of project timelines and resource allocation.
- Implement best practices in construction methods and materials to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, specifically jobsite layout, concrete foundation forming with panel systems and rebar work.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., OSHA, First Aid).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; CDL preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project demands.
