Concrete/Asphalt Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on various projects that require physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction/concrete and asphalt, and be familiar with the tools and techniques used in related work.

Duties

· Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including floors, foundations, paving, also prepping or laying asphalt.

· Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, mixing, and finishing concrete.

· Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.

· Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary throughout the workday.

· Restore surfaces by repairing or replacing damaged areas.

Skills

· Proficiency in placing, pouring and laying asphalt.

· Experience using power tools relevant to concrete or asphalt work is essential.

· Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and practices.

· Skills in caulking for sealing joints effectively.

· Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.

· Attention to detail for restoring surfaces and achieving high-quality finishes.

· Willingness to learn new skills related to construction as needed.

· Driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
