Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following confidential position in the Administration Office for the 2026-2027 school year:

DISTRICT OFFICE

Confidential Human Resources Specialist – Classified

Full Time Position/12 Months (260 days per year)

This position provides a high level of administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department. We are looking for an assistant who is proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the ability to take ownership of key department duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with five years of office experience requiring frequent contact with the public;
• Knowledge of office practices and procedures; type at a working rate of speed;
• Must have computer skills as success depends on proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
• Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills together with demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality, as well as scheduling and multi-tasking experience;
• Ability to perform basic business functions;
• Ability to provide administrative assistant support to the Director of Human Resources;
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service by phone and in person. Establish and maintain effective inter-department communications and relationships;
• Perform additional reasonably related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
• Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

Working Conditions

This position is in an office environment and requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time. The position also requires a significant amount of data entry, and is responsible for handling customer service calls that deal with a variety of District 7 inquiries. All calls that are of a contentious nature are to be forwarded to the Director of Human Resources.

Salary Range: $63,704-$88,996 commensurate with experience.
