CONGRESSIONAL SUPPORT ANALYST/MANAGEMENT ANALYST (Journeyman) (Contingent)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft, edit, and coordinate staffing papers, data calls, and response packages to Congressional Staff inquiries.
• Perform rapid programmatic/financial impact analysis on proposed legislation and markups; summarize implications for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Attend hearings/briefings; capture minutes, action items, points of contact, and suspense dates; track through closure.
• Coordinate with ELT/SLT offices to ensure consistent messaging and correct source documentation for submissions.
• Maintain a baseline repository of previous responses and talking points to enforce message consistency.

• Familiarity with DoD legislative processes and the Congressional cycle.
• Strong analytical writing; ability to synthesize technical content into executive language.
• Stakeholder coordination across Government offices.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated experience working on or with Capitol Hill, in a legislative affairs or policy role within a federal agency, or in a government relations role, with a mix of government and defense or private sector experience.

• Minimum Bachelors degree in related subject or discipline OR equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a Secret Clearance

• Minimum 5 years performing duties described in the description above.
