Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Consignment Sales Associate to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the friendly face of our boutique, responsible for managing consignment inventory, assisting customers, and driving sales through engaging product demonstrations and upselling. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a memorable shopping experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Manage the consignment inventory by stocking, merchandising, and organizing items to maximize visual appeal
• Conduct product demos to showcase key features and benefits of merchandise, encouraging customer engagement
• Assist customers with sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Upsell additional products or services to increase sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring all items are properly displayed and labeled
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or consignors

Skills

• Previous retail sales experience with supervising or leadership responsibilities preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong merchandising skills to create attractive displays that drive sales
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence
• Knowledge or familiarity with retail environments is a plus
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive customer relationships

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 38 per week
