Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be CCT-qualified and fluent in Arabic, as the majority of our pediatric patients and their families are native Arabic speakers. This role involves the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions in children and adolescents, working closely with families and allied healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and medication management where appropriate
- Provide ongoing follow-up and monitoring of patients’ progress
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, pediatricians, therapists, nurses, and school counselors
- Engage and support families, offering education and guidance in Arabic and English as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings
- Adhere to DHA regulations, ethical standards, and best clinical practices
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Eligibility for DHA licensure (or already licensed)
- Fluency in Arabic (essential); strong English communication skills required
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills
- Culturally sensitive approach to patient care
