Job Description
We are looking for a Construction Assistant to provide crucial support to our construction manager and teams, performing a mix of administrative, clerical, and on-site tasks. This role involves organizing and ordering materials, managing inventory, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Administrative and Clerical Tasks
- Organization: Maintaining files, answering phones, and managing correspondence.
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper storage and ordering of materials.
- Communication: Acting as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Project Support
- Assisting with Estimates and Invoices: Gathering information and supporting the preparation of construction project estimates and invoices.
- Reporting: Keeping a daily log of job site occurrences and reporting any issues or concerns.
- Scheduling: Keeping track of the company's project(s) status and progress.
- Coordination: Helping to coordinate different trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Must be able to commute to our office in Studio City or South LA
