Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our growing team. In this role, you’ll assist with the ongoing operation of existing projects and the pricing of new opportunities. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Support
- Support Project Managers in all phases of project execution—from pre-construction through closeout
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
- Issue subcontracts and manage subcontractor documentation, including insurance compliance and change estimates
- Oversee and track submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current
- Assist in LEED compliance, special inspection reporting, and other project requirements
Financial & Administrative Management
- Help manage and update project budgets, track expenses, and forecast future costs
- Review daily logs, subcontractor invoices, and progress reports for accuracy and completion
- Prepare and distribute project status updates highlighting key achievements, challenges, and milestones
- Assist in the preparation of change orders, purchase orders, and cost tracking documentation
Jobsite & Quality Oversight
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with field teams to resolve issues impacting project timelines
- Support the closeout process, including punch list completion and documentation handoff
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Project, and Procore (or similar construction management software)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and safety standards
- LEED or related certification is a plus
- Self-directed, calm under pressure, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
