Duties

• Assist the Superintendent in coordinating daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors and labor crews on-site, providing guidance to maintain productivity and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress using construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid; update schedules regularly.
• Conduct quality control inspections by reviewing blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify work meets design intent.
• Manage site safety by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting safety meetings; respond promptly to any incidents or hazards.
• Assist in reviewing contracts, change orders, and project budgets; support cost control efforts through accurate documentation.
• Utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing and Bluebeam for document review to ensure technical accuracy throughout the project.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam; familiarity with Primavera is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, construction estimating, and quality control procedures.
• Supervising experience with a focus on safety compliance aligned with OSHA standards.
• Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining clear communication.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and experience working within pipeline or heavy civil construction environments.
• Technical skills including blueprint reading, use of Ohmmeter for electrical testing, and familiarity with construction site safety protocols. Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
