Construction Bookkeeper (Deltek ComputerEase Required)

Overview
This role is responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, job cost accounting, payroll, and HR support. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in construction accounting and understands progress billing, job costing, and compliance requirements in the construction industry.

Duties

• Manage accounting in Deltek ComputerEase
• Job cost tracking and reporting
• AIA billing / progress billing
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Payroll processing (multi-employee construction payroll)
• Certified payroll reporting (if applicable)
• Assist with onboarding, HR documentation, and compliance
• Workers’ comp and insurance reporting
• Assist CPA with month-end and year-end reporting

Requirements

• 3–5 years construction accounting experience
• Proficiency in Deltek ComputerEase
• Knowledge of job costing and progress billing
• Experience in payroll processing
• HR experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability in balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
• Expertise in cash management strategies including forecasting and banking operations.
• Excellent skills in financial report writing combined with analytical thinking for detailed financial analysis.
• Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial documentation and collaborating across teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving regulations and industry standards while maintaining high accuracy levels. Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
