The Construction Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting construction workers and personnel between designated job sites, accommodation areas, and other locations as required. The driver must follow all safety procedures, maintain the vehicle, and ensure timely arrivals and departures while complying with company policies and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities1. Safe Transportation

• Transport construction staff to and from work sites on schedule.
• Ensure all passengers are seated safely and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Drive defensively and follow all traffic laws and regulations.

2. Route & Schedule Management

• Plan and follow assigned routes, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Arrive at pick-up points on time and maintain punctuality.
• Communicate any delays or route changes to the supervisor.

3. Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, fuel, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately.
• Ensure the bus is clean, sanitized, and presentable.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure passengers use seat belts (if available) and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger counts.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE when necessary.

5. Communication

• Coordinate with site supervisors and HR regarding daily schedules.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or passenger issues promptly.
• Assist in managing passenger boarding and disembarking safely.

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in construction or heavy transport.
• Experience driving buses, vans, or passenger vehicles.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws (or applicable country).
• Excellent driving skills and defensive driving ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Certifications

• Valid Heavy Vehicle / Bus Driving License (as required by local law).
• Clean driving record.
• First Aid certificate is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Work may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• May involve long hours and repetitive routes.
• Must be physically able to assist passengers if needed.
