Construction Concrete Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success by managing resources effectively, reading blueprints and schematics accurately, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process. Applicants must pass a Health Performance Exam, pre-hire drug and alcohol testing prior to starting. Applicant must have a minimum OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach training prior to starting.

Duties:

All positions require physical labor, positive attitude, and willingness to follow our safety policies.

Earthwork / Utility Foremen: Manages the day-to-day operations of the company's grading & earthwork projects - managing schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and personnel. Foremen are expected to have a good driving record, and strong leadership. Experience with utility, excavation or fine grading work is required.

Heavy Equipment Operators: Candidates must have experience operating heavy equipment i.e. Excavator, Dozer and or Front-end Loader.

  • Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide on-site activities
  • Monitor daily site operations for safety compliance, utilizing OSHA standards and safety protocols
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and oversee procurement using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools
  • Coordinate with project managers on contract requirements, change orders, and progress updates
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and industry standards
  • Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Ohmmeter for documentation, communication, and technical assessments
  • Oversee site safety procedures, conduct regular safety meetings, and enforce OSHA regulations
  • Supervise the use of construction site equipment including pipeline tools and management of schematics for complex installations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on heavy civil or infrastructure projects
  • Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, safety standards (OSHA), and project scheduling techniques
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera for planning and documentation purposes
  • Familiarity with contracts management, budgeting tools like HeavyBid, and construction estimating processes
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Hands-on experience with construction site equipment including ohmmeters for electrical assessments
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervising experience in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members effectively
