This is a Construction Contract Specialist role supporting A/E, SRM, and MILCON acquisitions. Work includes pre‑award, post‑award, contract administration, FAR Part 36, and construction procurement.
This is not a data analyst or administrative analyst position.
Key Responsibilities (Condensed & Construction‑Focused)Pre‑Award
- Conduct market research for construction and A/E requirements.
- Review and refine SOW/PWS/SOO for FAR/DFARS compliance.
- Evaluate requisition packages and recommend procurement strategies.
- Support development of evaluation criteria and Best Value approaches.
- Prepare bid schedules, draft solicitations, and assist with pre‑proposal conferences.
Post‑Award
- Administer construction and A/E contracts, including cost‑type and incentive‑type.
- Track contractor performance and deliverables; notify COR/CO of issues.
- Review monthly invoices and maintain contract tracking spreadsheets.
- Prepare and process contract modifications, including price/cost analysis.
- Support dispute resolution, labor issues, and complex admin challenges.
- Complete contract closeouts in PCF and PIEE.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain compliant PCF contract files and acquisition documentation.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefings.
- Develop PowerPoints, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
- Ensure all procurement actions meet FAR, DFARS, DoD engineering, and local policy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience in Government construction acquisition (A/E, SRM, MILCON).
- Strong contract administration and multi‑project management skills.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD engineering regulations.
- Experience with price/cost analysis and multiple contract types.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Business‑related degree (not required).
- Experience with ACWS or similar procurement systems.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
