Job description for Construction Engineer - Keonjhar

• Education : B.E /B.Tech (Civil) having 3 Years of experience or Diploma (Civil) having 10 Years of experience in construction supervision of the project
• Location: Keonjhar-dist, Odisha.
• Salary: 23000-27000 PM
• Preference: Local Candidates with Experience in Drainage, Pipeline, STP etc. Irrigation Projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of construction & commissioning of works carried out by the contractor.
• Inspect, monitor & report on construction activities, review the BoQs ensure quality of work & safety standards at the site as per standard practice.
• Checking the tests carrying out by the contractor.
• Supervise all site activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including all relevant records, registers, and correspondence.
• Prepare and present regular project progress reports.
• Direct construction operations to achieve quality standards and project timelines.
• Review and verify technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
• Manage and supervise contracted personnel, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and performance monitoring.

Skills & Qualities:

• Strong technical and engineering skills.
• Knowledge of water projects, concrete, materials, and testing.
• Project management abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of construction regulations and safety.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Must have an Experience & Knowledge in Drainage, Pipeline, STP/ETP/WTP, Sump / ESR Water Related Projects.
• 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
