Construction Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in assessing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and supporting the successful bidding process for construction projects. Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize estimating software such as and Bluebeam to prepare detailed bid proposals.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information.
• Conduct site visits as needed to assess scope and potential challenges.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a clear and professional manner.
• Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual terms related to costs and scope of work.
• Monitor project budgets during execution for cost control and variance analysis.
• Support project management teams with ongoing cost assessments and change order evaluations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new estimating tools or techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, and other construction estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes, including pricing strategies and cost control measures.
• Excellent negotiation skills for working with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Solid understanding of construction site operations, management practices, and safety standards.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
• Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in construction management or related roles is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,897.41 - $95,000.00 per year
