Responsibilities

• Review detailed project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction conditions, gather accurate data, and validate project scope.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate favorable terms.
• Prepare detailed bid packages that include material costs, labor estimates, equipment needs, and contingency allowances.
• Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure adherence to cost control targets.
• Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual documents related to project scope and pricing.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management processes.
• Hands-on construction site experience that provides insight into on-the-ground realities of building projects.
• Knowledge of contracts, project management principles, and cost control strategies within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure optimal pricing.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

Pay

$75,000 - $100,000 DOE

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
