About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team in Ajman, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analysing drawings, specifications, labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. The ideal candidate will help ensure projects are competitively priced while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
• Estimate material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed pricing schedules.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate pricing.
• Analyse project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and bid proposals.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Monitor market prices for construction materials and labour.
• Maintain an updated cost database for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare value engineering proposals to optimise project costs.
• Review contract documents and identify potential commercial risks.
• Support project teams with budget planning and cost forecasting.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in construction estimation.
• Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and UAE building standards.
