Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.
You will specialize in large excavation, land clearing, and general contracting projects.
Your primary role is to produce accurate, competitive bids that secure profitable projects.
The ideal candidate excels at quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and cross-team communication.Key Responsibilities

• Quantity Takeoffs: Quantify materials, labor, and equipment from blueprints.
• Bid Preparation: Compile competitive, accurate, and timely project bids.
• Cost Analysis: Evaluate labor, material, and subcontractor rate fluctuations.
• Site Evaluation: Assess land clearing and large-scale excavation requirements.
• Software Management: Utilize estimating software to streamline bidding workflows.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Present bid details clearly to clients and project managers.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential project roadblocks and financial risks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Proven track record in excavation and land clearing.
• General Contracting: Deep understanding of overall commercial construction processes.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of digital blueprints and quantity takeoff procedures.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with industry tools (e.g., HeavyBid, Bluebeam, B2W).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for vendor negotiations.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional math skills and sharp attention to detail.

Pay: $52,990.04 - $63,815.96 per year
