Construction Estimator Commercial

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator for our commercial projects. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate project estimates, cost control, and effective negotiation with clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and management, with hands-on experience on construction sites.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
• bidding platforms for all City Jobs- Public works- Government Jobs- Commercial Buildings- Mutely family units and Condos
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create precise estimates and manage project data.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and ensure adherence to cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Engage in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing strategies, and best practices in construction estimating.
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to stakeholders.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably within the commercial sector.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and practices.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
• Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for accurate project assessments.
• Experience in cost control measures and pricing strategies within the construction industry.
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable to understand practical aspects of projects.

Pay: $47,013.70 - $280,704.67 per year
