Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct on‑site visits to gather real‑world insights and ensure estimates reflect actual conditions.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies by evaluating material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor quotes while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate closely with project management to ensure estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project goals.
• Support sales efforts by engaging with clients, answering questions, and helping secure new business opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Strong negotiation skills with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of construction site operations and construction management principles.
• Expertise in cost control, pricing strategies, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Effective project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, contract discussions, and team collaboration.

Pay / Compensation & Benefits

• $68,000–$78,000 starting salary (DOE)
