Construction & Facilities Technician – Licensed Electrician

The Construction & Facilities Technician – Licensed Electrician is responsible for electrical work, facility maintenance, construction support, and repair activities across our construction projects and operations. This position supports active construction projects.

The ideal candidate is a dependable problem-solver who can troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, maintain facilities, and assist construction teams while upholding high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Pay will be based off of experience

Essential Responsibilities Electrical Systems

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in commercial and residential facilities.
  • Install, replace, and maintain electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Coordinate inspections and permit requirements when necessary.
  • Assist with electrical installations on active construction projects.

Construction Support

  • Assist project teams with punch-list completion and project closeout activities.
  • Support construction crews with electrical installations, repairs, and field problem-solving.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors as needed.
  • Maintain construction standards and job site safety requirements.
  • Help ensure projects remain on schedule by addressing maintenance and service-related issues promptly.

QualificationsRequired

  • Active Arkansas Electrical License.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential electrical systems.
  • Experience with facility maintenance, construction, or property management.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred

  • Construction industry experience.
  • Property management maintenance experience.
  • HVAC, plumbing, welding, or additional trade certifications.
  • Equipment operation experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
