Construction Foreman

Summary: The Construction Foreman will lead and supervise field operations, ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to direct and motivate crews while maintaining strong relationships with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Supervision: Direct and coordinate daily on-site activities, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety requirements. Supervise crews and subcontractors to deliver quality workmanship on schedule.

  • Trustworthy Leadership: Foster open and honest communication with the project team, subcontractors, and clients. Lead by example, building confidence and trust through reliable actions and decisions.

  • Mindful Decision-Making: Evaluate worksite challenges and resolve issues promptly while considering safety, efficiency, and long-term outcomes. Maintain awareness of crew dynamics, promoting respect and collaboration on site.

  • Zealous Team Development: Inspire and motivate your crew to achieve excellence in their craft. Provide mentorship and training, encouraging continuous improvement and a strong work ethic.

  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and hold team members accountable to best practices.

  • Resource & Schedule Management: Coordinate equipment, materials, and labor to maximize productivity. Assist in maintaining project schedules and ensuring timely completion of milestones.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.

  • 5+ years of HCAI construction experience, including supervisory or lead roles.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

  • Proven ability to manage crews and foster teamwork.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in commercial or complex construction projects.

  • OSHA certification or other safety training.

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
