Construction Foreman

Position Summary:

The Working Construction Foreman will lead and work alongside a crew performing underground utility installations, including directional boring, conduit runs, trenching, vault and handhole placement, and site restoration. This role requires hands-on field leadership, strong technical knowledge of underground construction methods, and the ability to maintain safe and productive job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and actively participate in daily field operations related to trenching, directional drilling, hydro excavation, and conduit installation.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and inspectors to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Operate and oversee use of heavy equipment such as mini excavators, vac trailers, trenchers, and boring machines.
• Lead site setup, traffic control coordination, and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
• Verify line and grade, trench depths, and conduit placement accuracy.
• Manage material deliveries, inventory, and equipment allocation.
• Conduct daily safety meetings (tailgates) and enforce company safety protocols.
• Communicate progress reports and potential issues promptly to management.
• Assist with documentation, including daily logs, production tracking, and as-built notes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
