Construction Helper / Laborer

Job Summary:

A Construction Helper provides general support to skilled tradesmen (such as masons, carpenters, and scaffolders) on construction sites. This includes material handling, site cleaning, tool organization, and assisting with basic tasks. It is an entry-level but essential role for maintaining site efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

· Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.

· Assist skilled workers (masons, carpenters, steel fixers, etc.) as needed.

· Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.

· Mix cement, sand, and mortar under supervision.

· Set up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures.

· Operate simple tools and machinery if trained.

· Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure safety at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· No formal education required, but prior site experience is a plus.

· Physically fit and able to carry heavy materials and perform manual labor.

· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

· Basic understanding of construction site safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

· At least 1 year of experience as a construction helper or laborer.

· Familiarity with general construction practices and materials.

· Valid UAE work permit or transferable visa.

Working Conditions:

· Full-time job on active construction sites, often under hot weather.

Pay: From AED20.00 per month

• Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
