Construction Inspector

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as adhering to contract specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze various construction elements, including blueprints and schematics, to maintain high-quality standards on construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Review and analyze blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to verify that all work is completed according to specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and workmanship throughout the construction process.
  • Collect data related to construction activities and prepare detailed reports on findings.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers regarding compliance issues or necessary corrections.
  • Monitor pipeline installations and other critical infrastructure components for adherence to industry standards.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements based on inspection findings and analysis.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction inspection processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with pipeline construction standards and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess quality in construction work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
