Construction Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas on-site
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up ladders and/or scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow
• Dig trenches, mix and pour concrete, and perform basic excavation tasks as directed
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision to support various construction activities
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Support site cleanup efforts at the end of each shift to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper storage and handling of supplies
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices; prior safety training is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites; punctuality is essential
• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is advantageous but not required—training will be provided!
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and machinery operation is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
