Duties

• Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools
• Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials, measuring, and performing basic tasks as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and removing hazards
• Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify potential safety issues or obstacles

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and protocols (training provided if needed)
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
