Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
• Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate project execution
• Prepare and level surfaces for concrete pouring, flooring installation, or paving with precision
• Perform demolition, renovation, or restoration tasks including plastering, stucco application, and caulking
• Support masonry activities like bricklaying, tile laying, and metal stud framing to ensure quality craftsmanship
• Conduct site clean-up, organize materials, and assist with heavy lifting to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing strenuous tasks safely
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and various building techniques such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, and flooring installation
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
• Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus
