Construction Laborer / Equipment Operator

LaRocque Trucking is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our excavation and trucking team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a small crew where every day is different. This is a hands-on position that includes construction labor, equipment operation, hauling materials, and assisting with excavation projects throughout the area.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with excavation, site work, drainage, and construction projects.

•Operate skid steers, compactors, and other equipment as experience allows

• Drive company pickups and non-CDL trucks

• Haul equipment and materials to and from job sites

• Load and unload materials• Assist with grading, site preparation, and cleanup

• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance

• Work directly with the owner on a variety of projects

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record• Experience in construction, excavation, landscaping, trucking, or related fields preferred• Ability to tow trailers and equipment is a plus• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
