Construction Laborer (Sewer & Water)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
• Perform highly physical labor tasks such as moving soil, moving materials, digging, heavy lifting, carrying materials, walking and standing for long periods at a time.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to make sure they have the materials and tools needed to complete the daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
• Follow best practices of installation and company standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum of 50 pounds) frequently and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, twist and stand for long periods of time.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow directions and work well within a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance company standards.
• Participate in company-wide drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
