Construction Laborer -Stormwater & Sewer

About Us

Maine Hydro-Vac Services specializes in vacuum truck services, stormwater & sewer system maintenance, and infrastructure inspection. We work with municipalities, contractors, and commercial clients across Southern Maine.

Pay Rate: $18-$25/hour with plenty of overtime potential in the busy season.

What You’ll Do

• Assist vacuum truck operators on job sites
• Collect and assemble job-specific equipment
• Operate vacuum units and related equipment safely and responsibly
• Use wash guns and vacuum dig pipes to clean catch basins and perform excavation
• Safely operate high-pressure jetter hoses to clear blocked pipes and culverts
• Assist with camera pipe inspections
• Remove and replace manhole covers (50–80 lbs)
• Lift and move dig pipes (approx. 20 lbs)
• Take job-site photos and document work performed
• Perform general labor on excavation projects

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting and performing manual labor
• Safety-minded and dependable
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Experience in excavation, landscaping, underground utilities, hydro excavation, sewer cleaning, or stormwater maintenance is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
