Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join our team and support clients involved in construction disputes and related legal issues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging cases, develop your litigation skills, and contribute to a firm renowned for its focused expertise and client dedication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional legal representation. The ideal candidate will have Strong academic credentials, and experience, a minimum of 1-3 years’ litigation experience, preferably in Construction Law, with strong writing skills. A background in the Construction and Design Industry would be an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to review and research applicable law, analyze cases effectively.

· Draft and edit pleadings.

· Attend hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.

· Build trusting relationships with clients.

· Meet annual billable hour requirements.

Qualifications:

· JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

· Admission to the FL State Bar

· 1-3 years of litigation experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills, have attention to detail and be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

· Be proactive and a self starter

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Must be an excellent team player and personable

· Experience with Westlaw, LexisNexis, NetDocs, AIM, I-Conect, Florida Courts E-Filing Portal and PACER is preferred
