We have your resume on file. We are seeking to fill a Construction Management Quality Assurance Inspector position in Utica, NY at the Alexander Pirnie Federal Building.

DUNNRITE is a recruiting firm based out of the Washington, DC Metro Area. We are dedicated to the placement of construction professionals, Architects and engineers.

We have a client who does a great deal of business with the DOD, USACE, NAVFAC, DOS, VA, and GSA. They are owner’s representatives for the government, who oversee design-build projects, interior and exterior renovations, new ground up/build-out and programming projects.

PROJECT LOCATION: The project is for the Alexander Pirnie Federal Building, located in Utica, New York.

SOW: This is a renovation inside a historic Federal building. This project is a complete bathroom gut and renovation to include: footers, concrete, piping, drainage, drywall, fixtures, finishes, flooring, etc. An Elevator Replacement would be an additional Project

Responsibilities

The Quality Control Management position requires inspections and daily reports to assure the accuracy of the quality control of the project.

Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure proper implementation of design intent.

Monitor construction activities on-site, including pipeline installations and other infrastructure components, to ensure quality standards are met.

Collect and analyze data related to construction progress, quality metrics, and compliance issues; prepare detailed reports for project teams.

Perform quality control checks at various stages of construction, identifying potential issues early and recommending corrective actions.

Collaborate with contractors and management to interpret contracts, scope changes, and technical requirements effectively.

Ensure all construction activities align with safety protocols and environmental regulations while maintaining project schedules.

REQUIREMENTS:

· You must be a US citizen and eligible for a clearance that involves fingerprinting.

· Must have a clean driving record.

· 5 Plus years of experience with Federal Government Construction Projects.

· Or 10 years construction Management experience with commercial buildings to include ADA compliant projects.

· BS in construction or an Engineering discipline is preferred.

· Construction Management experience working on Federal Government or GSA projects are a plus.

TIME FRAME:

Immediate hire once background check is completed.

This is a 9 month project.

This position is ideal for those with construction management experience looking for a full time/part time project, or is between projects, or those who are not ready to retire, or those who would like to try their hand in federal government projects and learn the processes.

COMPENSATION and EXPECTATIONS:

· You will become an employee of my client who is the Employer.

· You will be required to work on site when the contracts are working.
