Construction Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to lead our team on a prestigious high-rise building project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of all facets of high-rise construction.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related matters.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project execution plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Proactively identify potential challenges and implement mitigation plans.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of engineers, foremen, and on-site staff. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Quality and Safety: Champion a culture of safety and quality on site. Ensure strict adherence to all local regulations, quality control standards, and company safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with all contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role on high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of high-rise building systems, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
• Strong expertise in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6) and advanced planning techniques.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of local building codes, regulations, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards in Dubai.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
