Construction Manager

Wellington, FL Area: Land Banc Trust Management, LLC is seeking a Florida Licensed Construction Manager with extensive multi-year experience in ultra-luxury construction to oversee, coordinate, and supervise the construction of custom residential and commercial properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage worksites for both new-construction and renovation projects

· Provide direction and oversight to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are being met

· Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors

· Assist in hiring of full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules

· Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources to ensure timely delivery within budget

· Perform change order estimating and negotiations; oversee punch list and project closet-out activities

· Obtain licenses and permits and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards, conducting and documenting quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process.

· Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 10-years’ experience with multi-million-dollar, residential luxury construction projects (new construction and renovation)

· Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings and contracts

· Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods to ensure compliance with all national and local procedures, regulations, and codes

· Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail and quality

· Ability to negotiate contracts, manage personnel, meet deadlines and goals, control costs, and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to create work schedules, track budgeting expenses, and maintain organized financial records

· Sound financial estimation skills

· Knowledge of basic accounting procedures including making financial projections

· Proficiency in construction project management software and tools

· Strong command of English language; superior communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong organization, time management, and leadership skills

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management or related field

· Professional certifications a plus - such as CCM (certified construction manager), AC (associate constructor), or CPC (certified professional constructor)

· Florida licensed general contractor
