Tidal Construction is a commercial renovation and maintenance contractor serving property

management firms, general contractors, and facility owners across Central Ohio. We handle

multi-trade projects including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, electrical, plumbing,

and general maintenance. Our team delivers professional, on-time results with an emphasis

on communication, quality, and reliability.

Position Overview

The Project Manager oversees commercial construction and renovation projects from start

to finish — ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and at the highest

quality standards. This role combines field management, client communication, and

business development support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple

small- to mid-size projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Management

- Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple ongoing projects across commercial properties.

- Review scopes of work, site conditions, and specifications before kickoff.

- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet deadlines.

- Monitor progress, track materials and change orders, and update project budgets.

- Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.

- Maintain accurate project documentation (estimates, work orders, photos, invoices).

Client & Vendor Communication

- Serve as main point of contact for property managers, GCs, and vendors.

- Communicate schedules, approvals, and updates clearly and promptly.

- Handle client walkthroughs, punch lists, and closeout documentation.

- Estimating & Sales Support

- Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and proposal preparation.

- Conduct site visits for new bid opportunities and scope reviews.

- Support business development by identifying additional work opportunities with

existing clients.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of project management experience in construction or commercial maintenance.

- Knowledge of multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.).

- Strong organizational, scheduling, and leadership skills.

- Excellent communication and client management abilities.

- Proficiency with Google Workspace, and project tracking tools (Google Sheets/Monday/Buildertrend preferred).

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional site visits or after-hours coordination).

Competitive base salary + performance bonuses.
