Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Construction Manager only to join our award winning team in Riyadh, Saudi. The Construction Manager will act as the senior on-site lead for the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC), responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely supervision of large-scale enabling and early works.

The role is focused on earthworks, mass grading, construction haul roads, stockpile removal, traffic management, logistics coordination, and multi-contractor interfaces, operating within a live mega-project environment.

The Construction Manager will oversee contractor performance, enforce contractual and regulatory compliance, manage site interfaces, and protect critical milestones linked to adjacent asset deliveries, while acting in support of the Engineer under the FIDIC contract.
  • Leading the day-to-day site supervision of enabling works including site levelling, bulk excavation, earthworks, haul road construction, stockpile handling and removal
  • Ensuring all works are executed in full compliance with IFC designs, approved shop drawings, method statements, permits, specifications, and statutory requirements
  • Coordinating and managing multiple active work fronts across District 18, ensuring adequate supervision coverage and productivity across all zones
  • Monitoring contractor performance against approved programs, productivity benchmarks, and contractual obligations, initiating corrective actions where required
  • Reviewing and monitoring the contractor’s Primavera P6 Level 5 program, identifying risks, delays, and critical path impacts
  • Leading weekly and monthly progress reviews, including look-ahead planning, productivity analysis, and milestone tracking
  • Ensuring timely preparation and issuance of daily, weekly, and monthly construction supervision reports, including progress, manpower, plant, HSE, quality, and interface status
  • Providing early warnings and recommendations to the Engineer and Client where acceleration, resequencing, or resource enhancement is required
  • Enforcing strict compliance with Qiddiya HSE requirements, Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), and Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
  • Coordinating structural steel work, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems installation, and other vertical asset-related activities
  • Ensuring efficient site supervision for smooth execution, and manage the timely delivery of materials and labor
  • Overseeing implementation of 24-hour traffic control, banksmen operations, dust mitigation, and site safety controls, particularly at high-risk interfaces and level differentials
  • Ensuring zero tolerance to unsafe practices and immediate escalation of HSE violations
    Coordinate with Fire Operations, Emergency Response Services, and Environmental teams as required
  • Supervising and verify all earthworks, compaction, pavement layers, drainage, utilities, lighting, and temporary works
  • Reviewing and coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with approved laboratories and third-party inspectors
  • Ensuring defects, non-conformances, and rework risks are identified early and resolved promptly
  • Maintaining accurate site records, inspection registers, and as-built verification data
  • Acting as the primary on-site focal point for interfaces with adjacent contractors, permanent works teams, utilities, and regulatory authorities
  • Protecting neighboring project schedules by pro-actively managing access, haul routes, logistics conflicts, and temporary diversions
  • Coordinating closely with District-wide traffic, logistics, and stakeholder representatives to maintain uninterrupted operations across the site
  • Supporting the Engineer and Cost Consultant in reviewing interim payment applications, variations, claims, and extensions of time
  • Providing factual records, progress data, and technical input to support commercial assessments and dispute avoidance
  • Ensuring works are delivered within the approved scope, minimizing rework, inefficiencies, and cost exposure

Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 15 years’ career experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

A Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts, particularly in the role of Engineer / Engineer’s Representative support.

Demonstrable experience working on mega-projects or complex multi-contractor environments within KSA or the GCC.
In-depth understanding of HSE, traffic management, environmental controls, and regulatory permitting in Saudi Arabia
Strong capability in program management (Primavera P6), reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
