Construction Manager

We are seeking an active, field-driven Construction Manager to take full ownership of daily site construction execution, workforce sequencing, and field productivity for a high-rise residential development on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Acting as the main contractor's field representative, you will lead subcontractors and site engineering teams to hit aggressive fast-track production targets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Take direct charge of day-to-day structural sequences, blockwork, masonry, civil waterproofing, and high-end finishing packages.
• Lookahead Planning: Formulate comprehensive daily site work assignments and detailed 4-week lookahead execution programs.
• Resource Optimization: Strategically deploy and track on-site contractor manpower, engineering resources, and heavy machinery to optimize daily output.
• Subcontractor Accountability: Monitor assigned sub-contractor progress closely to ensure they consistently achieve their daily site production milestones and manpower commitments.
• Inspection Management: Coordinate field inspections in sync with the QA/QC team and the consultant to clear structural and architectural milestones smoothly.
• Technical Compliance: Resolve immediate site constraints on the ground by interfacing with technical and procurement units, ensuring all installations strictly match approved drawings and method statements.
• Daily Reporting: Track field indicators and submit daily progress summaries directly to the Project Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Total Experience: 10–15 years of solid building construction site execution experience.
• Project Profile: Core, proven background managing the delivery of high-rise residential building projects.
• Technical Competence: A deep understanding of structural works, site sequencing, and fast-track, premium architectural finishing coordination.
• Market Exposure: Mandatory hands-on construction delivery experience within the UAE market.
• Note: This is a field-based operational leadership role. Candidates with an office-only background will not match the fast-track site needs of this project.
