Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
- Oversee all site construction activities and ensure adherence to project schedule, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Develop detailed construction schedules and ensure progress aligns with the approved baseline program.
- Coordinate with planning, design, and procurement teams for timely availability of drawings, materials, and subcontractors.
- Implement construction methodologies aligned with project requirements and company standards.
2. Site Coordination & Supervision:
- Lead the site management team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily and weekly coordination meetings to review project progress, risks, and action plans.
- Monitor site productivity and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities, consultants, and client requirements.
3. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE):
- Enforce ASAK’s safety policies and ensure zero-incident culture on-site.
- Oversee quality control procedures and ensure that all construction works meet specified standards and client expectations.
- Liaise with the QA/QC department for inspection and approval of works.
4. Cost & Resource Management:
- Monitor project budgets and control cost overruns.
- Review material requests, subcontractor invoices, and progress claims.
- Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for consultants, clients, and project management teams.
- Prepare and present project progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recovery actions.
- Ensure effective coordination with other departments including procurement, HR, and finance.
6. Leadership & Staff Development:
- Mentor and guide site teams to ensure productivity, motivation, and adherence to company values.
- Evaluate team performance and recommend training or support where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role handling high-rise buildings (30+ floors) in the UAE.
- Proven experience in managing projects from mobilization to handover.
- Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, municipality regulations, and authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, ADM, Trakhees, etc.).
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
