Construction Manager - Japan

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifies and confirms the availability of resources needed and assigns individual work responsibilities for look-ahead schedules and for the execution of daily construction efforts. Timely advises Project Manager of shortfalls and develops contingency plans to ensure that work stays on schedule and budget.
• Manages and executes day-to-day aspects of a project’s construction and scope.
• Reviews plans for and manages the execution of all work by his subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and firm personnel.
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
• Provides confirmation and documentation of work performed for billing purposes.
• Minimizes MVL’s exposure and risk on the project.
• Ensures work is performed safely and timely in accordance with the contract documents and proactively and retroactively alerts the project manager issues.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
• Delivers project on time, safely, within budget, to the standards specified.
