To lead and manage on-site construction activities for high-specification, critical infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery in line with approved designs and project timelines.
Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to completion and handover

Lead and supervise site teams including engineers, foremen, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works are executed safely, on time and to specification

Drive construction activities across civil, structural and architectural works, with close coordination of MEP interfaces

Plan and manage short-term and lookahead programmes, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule

Monitor site progress, productivity and resource allocation, implementing corrective actions where required

Oversee construction methodologies, sequencing and temporary works to ensure efficient execution

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards

Conduct regular site inspections to maintain strict quality control across substructure, superstructure and finishing works

Enforce HSE policies and procedures on site, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with local regulations

Coordinate closely with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and subcontractor packages

Support the commercial team in tracking variations, progress valuations and cost control from a site perspective

Liaise with consultants for inspections, approvals and technical clarifications

Lead snagging, de-snagging and ensure readiness for testing, commissioning and final handover
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (
mandatory
)

Minimum 12–15 years’ experience with reputable main contractors, primarily in site-based roles

Strong background in civil and structural construction, with hands-on delivery experience

Proven track record delivering complex or mission-critical projects from groundworks through to completion

Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site logistics

Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts, with practical exposure to variations and claims at site level
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, multicultural site teams
