Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants is currently seeking an Assistant Marketing Communications Manager for our Construction Marketing Department. This position reports to the VP of Construction Marketing and is responsible for the development, management and implementation of the strategic internal and external marketing communications initiatives of the Construction Products Division within the corporate marketing function.
Fundamental Job Tasks
Increases awareness of the Titebond brand through creative social media strategies. Manages social media campaigns and engagement tracking and analysis with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Create new opportunities for marketing content and bring specific social media marketing experience and skills to help advance our program to even greater levels.
Develops and executes digital communications programs that increases exposure and sales of new products to online outlets while driving engagement and traffic to
Titebond.com. Manages a yearly Constant Contact calendar to communicate with internal and external personnel including sales representatives, customers and contractors. Writes SEO blog posts for use in the digital space. Oversees development and implementation of digital advertising programs through key online retailers.
Develops digital content to support social media, Retail Division and individual product line goals. Serves as the project lead with the marketing communication department to develop content for YouTube and social media channels, working with outside agencies as needed for any additional content. Contributes to script writing, shot list and prop and set development for all Titebond and company videos.
Ensures a consistent brand and product image working in conjunction with the marketing team. Assists product managers with marketing program for product line and marketing communications projects. Works with Retail Division to ensure all product-related information and content is accurate and up -to-date on retailer websites. Attends and supports key tradeshows as needed.
Promotes project/product success by thorough communication and team-building. Assists in vendor selection for relevant product-related initiatives. Builds trust and teamwork between internal personnel by understanding the needs and concerns of key departments as they interact with the marketing team.

Knowledge and Skills
BS degree in Marketing or related field and 1-2 years’ experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills and experience with social media such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are necessary.
Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, be detail-oriented, flexible and possess creative problem-solving skills. Excellent team player, energetic and quick to understand tasks at hand. Strong sense of self-motivation and an ability to adapt to the job at hand.
Working Conditions
Most frequently, the incumbent of this position performs his/her work in a standard office environment. May be exposed to occasional noise and temperature exposure at customer locations and/or industry trade shows. Occasional need to be in Franklin’s manufacturing operations; when in such environments, appropriate eye, ear, head, foot and hand protection, as well as appropriate clothing, is required. Overnight or day travel may be required up to 20% of the time for seminars, trade shows, customer visits, etc. This may include travel on short notice and/or on weekends.
