Construction Material handling foreman

Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling

• Supervise daily material receiving, unloading, sorting, and distribution at the site.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials to work areas.
• Maintain proper arrangement and storage of materials to avoid damage, wastage, and delays.
• Monitor material movement logs and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect all incoming materials for quantity, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Arrange manpower, forklifts, and cranes for safe and efficient material handling activities.
• Ensure all lifting operations follow approved lifting plans, load limits, and safety procedures.
• Report any shortages, damages, or delays to the Construction/Logistics team.

Scaffolding Handling

• Supervise scaffolding erection, dismantling, shifting, and inspection activities.
• Check scaffolding material availability and ensure proper stacking, bundling, and storage.
• Ensure scaffolding works follow safety standards, load capacities, and site requirements.
• Coordinate with scaffolding inspectors/engineers for approvals and compliance checks.
• Maintain updated records of scaffolding material movement, usage, and return.

Team Supervision

• Lead and manage material handlers, helpers, and scaffolding crews.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, and maintain productivity.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all workers follow safety and PPE requirements.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safe lifting, loading, and handling procedures at all times.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, site rules, and project standards.
• Report near misses, unsafe acts, and incidents immediately to site management.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
