Construction Material Runner

We are a growing roofing and siding company looking for a reliable, organized Job Site Materials Runner to support our crews on project days. This role is essential to keeping jobs moving efficiently by ensuring materials, communication, and site updates are handled in real time.

You’ll act as the link between the supply house, the job site, and the company owner.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Pickup & Delivery

• Pick up roofing or siding materials from local supply houses (materials will be pre-ordered by us)
• Deliver materials directly to job sites safely and on time
• Confirm correct materials and quantities at pickup and drop-off

Job Site Support

• Visit active job sites during projects (especially multi-day siding jobs)
• Take clear photos/videos of job progress, materials, and any issues
• Report site conditions, crew needs, or problems to owner
• Relay instructions or information from owner to crew when needed

Logistics & Communication

• Help ensure crews have what they need to keep working
• Make additional supply runs if small items are needed
• Notify owner immediately of delays, missing materials, or concerns

Schedule

• Work only on days when projects are active
• Typically only several hours per day (Morning setup, mid day material runs, afternoon check in)
• Roofing jobs: typically 1–2 days
• Siding jobs: often 5+ days
• Hours vary by job but typically mornings + check-ins during the day

REQUIRED!

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of carrying building materials (often slightly exceeding 12ft in length) (truck bed preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable around construction sites
• Excellent communication skills (texting, calls, photos)
• Punctual and dependable

• Comfortable talking with crews and supply houses
• Takes clear photos and follows instructions well
• Construction or roofing experience is a plus (not required)
