Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Material Testing Technician based in Marine On St Croix, MN. Work will consist of on-site laboratory testing and field testing on a variety of construction sites around the Minneapolis metro and beyond. The role involves performing on-site and laboratory tests on construction materials, ensuring quality control, analyzing and troubleshooting testing outcomes, and communicating findings with the relevant team members. The technician will also be responsible for recording test data and preparing detailed reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Control and adherence to standards to ensure the integrity of construction materials
• Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating test results and identifying anomalies
• Laboratory Skills, including sample collection, preparation, and execution of various material tests
• Problem-solving and Troubleshooting skills to address unexpected issues during testing
• Excellent Communication skills for effectively reporting findings and collaborating with team members
• Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and within a team
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles and testing methods is a plus
• Completion of relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, NICET) preferred
