Position Description

We are a growing company looking for someone to be a part of key projects at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport along with other large commercial projects. This is a civil engineering / construction material testing position predominantly testing quality of concrete. This position has real potential for a great career. The work is outdoors and is occasionally physically demanding. Hours vary, but projects can be day or night and some weekends when the clients need us.

Starting pay is $20 to $25/hour depending on background, experience and certifications. We prefer at least one year experience, but for the person who is dependable and hardworking we are willing to train, pay for certifications, provide a work vehicle, pay 50% of health/dental/vision insurance, partial cell phone reimbursements and paid time off (vacation/sick pay). Must be able to pass background check and have good driving record. If interested, we would like to speak with you.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to move, lift or carry objects or materials up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

· Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding

· Majority of work is outdoors, so must be able to withstand weather conditions

· Ability to physically maneuver around construction sites
- Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communications in the English language, including the ability to communicate directly and over the telephone and be understood.

Education, Training, Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Concrete Testing, ACI Field Level I Certification, preferred but not required
• All ICC certifications, preferred but not required
• Nuclear Gauge Certification, preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
